Data Analyst

Short Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform.Our partner company is one of the most data-driven teams supporting airline operations, where real-time dashboards enable Management Team Operations to make well-informed decisions, both during day-of-operations and in strategic planning.You’ll be part of a collaborative group of four Data Analysts, responsible for extracting and visualizing data from our in-house Google Cloud Data Platform. You’ll work closely with our Data Engineering team (10 engineers), all co-located in Amsterdam and Budapest.

Description

• Data Modelling: Collaborate with data engineers to co-design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that enable seamless extraction, governance, and analysis.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Drive data-informed decision-making by extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and presenting actionable insights.
• Business Understanding & Problem Definition: Quickly understand complex business processes and translate them into well-defined KPIs to guide operational decisions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in data analysis, ideally within large corporate environments and remote/co-located teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through STEM education and/or professional experience.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex analyses in accessible language and effectively engage with stakeholders.
• Proactive and resourceful; you identify issues and take initiative to resolve them.
• Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery) and hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Spotfire, PowerBI, or Google Looker).
• Familiarity with Python or Scala is advantageous, but not required.
