DevOps Engineer

Short Description

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Engineering organisation, supporting services across SAP Concur, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass. This role is focused on operation, maintaining and evolving our production infrastructure across Linux, cloud, automation and enterprise storage platforms. 

Description

• Operate and maintain Linux-based production infrastructure (primarily RHEL).   
• Manage infrastructure lifecycle activities including provisioning, patching, upgrades, configuration management, and capacity planning. 
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).   
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and OpenTofu.   
• Administer and optimize enterprise storage platforms, including NetApp ONTAP, NAS, SAN, and data protection technologies.   
• Support cloud infrastructure and storage services across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.   
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across compute, storage, networking, and application layers.   
• Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, root cause analysis, and service reliability initiatives.   
• Implement security hardening standards and support compliance requirements including PCI DSS and SOC 2.   
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure services.   
• Develop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or a related field.   
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.   
• Hands-on experience with Ansible and infrastructure automation.   
• Proficiency in shell scripting and Python.   
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.   
• Knowledge of Terraform and/or OpenTofu.   
• Experience with enterprise storage technologies such as NetApp ONTAP, NAS, SAN, and storage lifecycle management.  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.   
• Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning, and production support.   
• Strong understanding of change management, security, and compliance practices.   

• Experience with Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), AWX or Tower
• Exposure to Kubernetes and/or OpenShift
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and cloud storage services
• Familiarity with disaster recovery, backup and business continuity solutions
• Experience with observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and NetApp Active IQ
• Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
