Description

• Develop SAP reports, interfaces, conversions, forms and user exits in line with functional specifications and architectural standards.
• Create and enhance data sources, infosets and queries.
• Design, develop and support integrations with legacy and third-party systems using BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, LSMW and BDC techniques.
• Develop custom CDS views and enhance standard views, applying appropriate annotations and implementing AMDP classes.
• Build OData services using CDS and AMDP capabilities.
• Apply SAP HANA performance guidelines to develop and optimize ABAP code.
• Use advanced debugging techniques to investigate and resolve application and workflow issues.
• Analyze and implement SAP OSS Notes as required.
• Follow Software Development Life Cycle processes and maintain clear technical documentation.
• Work across SAP 4.7 and ECC 6.0 environments, using ABAP Development Tools in HANA Studio/Eclipse for relevant development activities.
• Communicate progress, identify risks and blockers, and help drive corrective actions.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Practical experience with BAdIs, BAPIs, LSMW, ALE, RFCs, IDocs and BDC.
• Experience with object-oriented ABAP, including business objects, classes and methods.
• Experience developing Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAPscript, Data Dictionary objects and ALV reports.
• Knowledge of implicit and explicit enhancements, screen exits and menu exits.
• Strong ABAP debugging skills and experience supporting and debugging SAP workflows.
• Experience across several SAP modules, such as SD/SM, FI/CO, MM/PP or QM.
• Strong implementation knowledge of Native SQL, ADBC, external views, CDS, AMDP, text search and ALV on HANA.
• Practical knowledge of SAP HANA code performance rules and optimization techniques.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to changing priorities and deliver under pressure.
