Description

We are looking for a Linux Operations Engineer to join an international enterprise environment and support the reliable operation of a large-scale data center infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and handle infrastructure and application alerts within defined SLAs
• Troubleshoot Linux-related incidents following established runbooks
• Perform application node and server restarts using automation tools
• Collect logs, thread dumps, and other diagnostic information
• Run health checks and validation jobs before escalation
• Support planned maintenance activities, including server reboots and post-maintenance validation
• Create, update, and manage incidents in ServiceNow
• Maintain accurate incident timelines and document troubleshooting activities
• Escalate complex or out-of-scope issues to L3/SRE teams
• Identify missing, unclear, or outdated runbooks and provide feedback for improvement

Requirements

• Around 2–3 years of Linux administration/operations experience
• Previous L1/L2 infrastructure or application support experience
• Good Linux troubleshooting skills
• Experience with monitoring, alert handling, and incident management
• Familiarity with ticketing systems; ServiceNow experience is an advantage
• Ability to work independently based on documented procedures and runbooks
• Good professional English communication skills

• L3 support or advanced troubleshooting experience
• Experience in SRE Operations, Production Support, or Data Center Operations
• Knowledge of automation/orchestration tools
• Experience working in large-scale, mission-critical enterprise environments
• SAP environment experience is a plus
