Lead People & Technology
- Lead, coach and develop a small team of highly skilled IT and application professionals
- Set priorities, establish clear objectives and create an environment of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Provide technical and strategic direction across the application portfolio
- Take end-to-end ownership of the enterprise application portfolio within your business domain
- Manage the full lifecycle of SAP-based applications—from operations and support through continuous improvement, transformation and retirement
- Ensure applications remain secure, scalable, integrated and aligned with business requirements
- Define and maintain application roadmaps and investment priorities
- Act as a trusted technology partner and primary interface between business stakeholders and IT
- Understand business challenges and translate them into pragmatic, scalable technology solutions
- Challenge requirements where appropriate and identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes
- Ensure technology investments deliver tangible business outcomes
- Lead complex IT initiatives and projects from concept through implementation and handover to operations
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders and external delivery partners
- Drive innovation across the application landscape, including opportunities in automation, AI and digitalisation
- Evaluate new technologies and translate relevant developments into practical business solutions
- Select, manage and challenge external partners, consultants and technology vendors
- Ensure delivery quality, timelines, budgets and service levels meet expectations
- Establish effective governance across projects, applications and third-party services
Requirements
- Several years of experience in IT leadership, application management or enterprise systems
- Proven experience leading and developing technical teams
- Strong hands-on understanding of the SAP ecosystem, ideally including SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP
- Experience managing enterprise applications across their full lifecycle
- Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs and enterprise application architecture
- Sufficient development knowledge to effectively engage with technical teams, for example ABAP and SAP Fiori
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex IT projects and business transformation initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset with a strong focus on outcomes rather than technology for its own sake
- Fluent professional English
- Experience with SAP AI, automation or intelligent business solutions
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform
- Experience working in a multinational / international organisation
- Exposure to Enterprise Architecture, technology roadmaps or IT strategy
- Experience with SAP integration technologies and modern cloud architectures
