Senior Platform Automation Engineer

Short Description

We are looking for highly experienced, hands-on Senior Professionals to support a strategic Cloud Platform Engineering initiative focused on scalable Infrastructure-as-Code platforms, AI-assisted engineering workflows, and next-generation CI/CD pipelines.

The role centers on building a modern, enterprise-grade deployment platform that enables self-service cloud delivery and engineering automation while integrating Policy-as-Code controls such as Open Policy Agent (OPA). This is not a security specialist position; the ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Terraform, CI/CD and platform automation, GitHub and Azure DevOps ecosystems, as well as AI-assisted software delivery practices.Design, build, and operationalize enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines, reusable Terraform frameworks, and scalable deployment patterns that enable self-service cloud provisioning. Develop GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps templates, automated validation and governance controls, and deployment workflows that support Policy-as-Code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA). Drive AI-assisted engineering workflows and automation to improve developer productivity, experience, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Cloud, DevOps, and Architecture teams on platform modernization, standardized deployment practices, reference architectures, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or related areas, with proven experience designing and implementing large-scale CI/CD platforms.
• Advanced expertise in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipeline architecture, including reusable Terraform modules, deployment frameworks, and self-service platform capabilities.
• Strong experience with Azure, cloud-native deployment patterns, multi-environment delivery pipelines, and scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience integrating policy validation frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA), along with a strong understanding of automated software delivery lifecycle practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and AI tools in software engineering and platform operations.
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), cloud landing zones, Kubernetes/container platforms, and engineering self-service capabilities.
• Familiarity with platform governance and deployment controls, with multi-cloud experience (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP beneficial).
