Short Description

Our partner is looking for an SAP Logistics Functional Consultant to join our SAP Competence Center. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for our business users, supporting them with SAP processes, troubleshooting issues, improving system configuration, and contributing to implementation projects.

Description

SAP Support & Incident Management

Provide day-to-day functional support to Key Users and business users.
Explain and advise on available SAP functionalities, including both standard and custom solutions.
Monitor the ticketing system and immediately take ownership of high-priority cases.
Analyze reported issues, reproduce and test problems, and gather additional information where required.
Keep tickets up to date with accurate statuses, actions, and resolutions.
Record time spent on issue resolution in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
Work closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

System & Process Monitoring

Monitor SAP processes and support users in their day-to-day activities.
Monitor system performance and identify and report issues.
Monitor interfaces and coordinate or perform issue resolution.
Provide guidance to users when process or system-related questions arise.
User Communication & Collaboration
Act as a reliable point of contact for users requiring SAP support.
Respond to user requests and complaints and ensure they are properly registered and followed up.
Collaborate with the relevant experts to identify solutions and provide practical guidance.
Participate in status review meetings and gather relevant business and technical information.
Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues, particularly in complex or exceptional cases.

Training & User Enablement

Deliver training on SAP functionality, covering both standard and custom processes.
Help users understand SAP processes and make effective use of available functionality.
Participate in relevant professional and SAP training to continuously develop your expertise.
Master Data Management
Perform mass maintenance of master data when required.
Check master data quality during new implementations.
Perform urgent master data corrections when necessary.
Support the business in maintaining accurate and reliable master data.

SAP Implementation Projects

You will also have the opportunity to take an active role in SAP implementation and improvement projects by:
Participating in GAP analysis and documenting business requirements.
Preparing functional specifications.
Performing SAP customizing and configuration.
Planning, coordinating, and executing user testing.
Supporting data migration and cut-over activities.
Monitoring systems, business processes, and interfaces during implementation and go-live phases.
Working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other IT teams to deliver effective solutions.

Requirements

A university degree or equivalent qualification.
At least 3 years of experience with ERP systems, preferably with a focus on logistics processes.
Experience with SAP Logistics or Macola is a strong advantage.
An understanding of programming or the ability to read and understand code is a plus.
Previous experience in SAP or ERP implementation projects is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
A result-oriented and customer-focused mindset.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an international team.
A genuine interest in learning SAP processes, tools, and new technologies.
Willingness to travel internationally, potentially up to 25%.
