• Hands on knowledge of HANA DB Administration and Linux systems
• Monitoring and optimising HANA system performance, including database tuning, query optimisation and resource management
• Work closely with Engineering teams to report, review and enhance overall Database performance
• Develop automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual efforts and cost structure (lower TCO)
• Troubleshooting and resolve complex issues related to SAP HANA and Python code effectively
• Work on high priority incidents and provide on-call support on rotational basis
• Participate and own various projects, proof-of-concept initiative, and continuous improvement efforts
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and provide technical guidance to L1/L2 Teams

• 4-5 years of relevant experience in database operations and automation
• Technical skills:
• SAP HANA Database Administration
• Linux system administration
• Python programming
• Database performance tuning and optimising
• Automation development
• Incident management and troubleshooting
