Description
- Act as the main point of contact for customers placing orders for marine and energy products
- Manage the full order-to-invoice process, ensuring compliance with brand offers
- Communicate with global stakeholders (customers, engineers, sales, logistics)
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax
- Advise on optimal delivery ports and challenge non-standard orders
- Take corrective actions for delivery issues (e.g. ETA changes, product shortages)
- Monitor credit limits and escalate violations
- Issue delivery instructions and confirmations
- Record complaints and non-conformances (CIS system)
- Use SAP and Manta systems for invoicing and order amendments
- Track service performance (IFOT) and seek improvement opportunities
- Support customers with system usage (DMS/PSD) and provide market insights
- Handle technical inquiries and escalate when needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of customer service experience in a phone or SSC environment
- Strong understanding of customer needs and behaviours
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of the end-to-end order-to-cash process
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and self-driven attitude
- Experience with SAP or Salesforce, and MS Office
- Senior stakeholder management skills
