International environment | Regional scope | Procurement & Programme Management | Fixed-term | Our international partner is looking for an experienced Regional Programme Lead – Europe to join its global procurement organization.In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of global procurement programmes across the European region, with a particular focus on areas such as business travel, meetings & events, contingent labour and corporate card programmes.You will work closely with managed service providers, procurement teams and senior business stakeholders across multiple countries, playing an important role in improving user experience, driving change and supporting the successful implementation of global initiatives.

Description

Manage the day-to-day operation of global programmes within the European region, overseeing Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Act as a Subject Matter Expert and support the expansion and enhancement of programmes across new countries and business units.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, service delivery and operational performance.
Lead and support continuous improvement, transformation and change management initiatives.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, procurement teams, business users and external suppliers.
Support end users with complex programme-related queries and ensure effective resolution.
Develop and deliver programme-related training, communication and awareness initiatives.
Monitor supplier and programme performance and support regular performance reviews.
Collaborate across functions and regions to resolve complex operational challenges and drive adoption of new solutions.
Leverage digital solutions and market insights to improve efficiency, effectiveness and value creation.
Support incident and crisis management activities related to global programmes when required.
Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive and continuous improvement-focused team culture.

Requirements

University degree, ideally in Business, Procurement or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 6 years of experience in global programme management, specifically within contingent labour and/or corporate travel.
Strong understanding of programme operations, processes and supplier management.
Experience working with Managed Service Providers and external suppliers.
Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
Experience working in a global, cross-cultural and complex organizational environment.
Proven experience in change management, communication campaigns and user adoption.
Ability to identify improvement opportunities and translate business requirements into actionable plans.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity and conflicting priorities.
Collaborative, resilient and proactive working style.
Nice to have: experience managing or supporting crisis situations, particularly in relation to business travel, is highly valuable.
Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline or similar platforms is also an advantage.
