As an SAP Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative digital solutions and supporting the transformation of a data-driven organization. You'll combine technical expertise with business understanding to design, develop, and maintain high-quality SAP solutions.Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing scalable SAP solutions and system architecture.
- Translating business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Taking ownership of the full software lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business value.
- Contributing to technology decisions while balancing innovation, quality, performance, and long-term sustainability.
- Promoting engineering best practices, modern tools, and continuous improvement across the team.
Requirements
As an SAP Full Stack Developer, you bring several years of hands-on experience working with SAP ERP and developing both standard and custom SAPUI5 applications. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues, providing guidance on front-end topics, and continuously improving the user experience through innovative solutions.We're looking for someone with:
- Extensive experience with ABAP, OOABAP, and CDS Views (minimum 5 years)
- Experience with SAP Gateway, SAP Fiori, and building/configuring custom OData services; knowledge of RAP is a plus
- At least 4 years of experience developing applications using the SAPUI5 framework in line with SAP Fiori guidelines
- Strong knowledge of RICFEW objects and enhancement techniques
- Experience with HANA and S/4HANA, including code push-down techniques
- Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA (CDS Views, AMDP, Calculation Views, SQL Script)
- Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications using technologies such as REST, SOAP, and ALE/EDI
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and high-performing code
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Familiarity with VS Code for front-end development and SAP Solution Manager for back-end deployments
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience mentoring colleagues and sharing software engineering best practices
- A solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, with occasional office visits for team collaboration, training, and events
- Experience with S/4HANA brownfield conversions or greenfield implementation projects
- Knowledge of JavaScript; TypeScript is an advantage
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions
