Our partner company was founded in 1991 and holds a leading position in the global surimi market, as well as being one of Europe’s key producers of fish and seafood products. Its products are currently available in more than 70 markets worldwide. At present, we are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their team, who will play a key role in managing and optimizing supply chain and logistics operations.
Description
- Plan, coordinate, and execute purchase orders from the factory by forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely replenishment to support uninterrupted operations and optimal product availability,
- Manage the end-to-end sales order process, from receipt to delivery,
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure on-time fulfilment,
- Manage the movement of goods, materials, and resources within the ERP system,
- Analyze discrepancies between the company's ERP system data and the data provided by the 3PL service provider, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of identified issues,
- Verify the collection, accuracy, and timely preparation of customer orders and outbound shipments at the 3PL provider's facility, ensuring alignment with the company's requirements and service standards,
- Resolve delivery-to-point issues in real time by monitoring online systems, coordinating with the 3PL provider,
- Monitor and ensure timely return of delivery documentation from the 3PL provider, securing accuracy and completeness of all delivery-related documents,
- Oversee and confirm the acceptance and proper registration of goods returned from delivery at the 3PL provider's facility,
- Provide timely and high-quality responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels
- Maintain and update customer and product databases,
- Provide headquarters with reports and analytics (e.g., bad BBD, customer service levels, etc.)
Requirements
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Fluent English communication skills in speaking and writing.
- Experience in a similar industry is an advantage.
- Proven experience in managing purchase orders, sales order processes, and inventory control.
- Hands-on experience working with 3PL service providers, including monitoring service performance and resolving operational issues.
- Strong background in ERP systems (preferably Navision or equivalent) for managing goods movement, data accuracy, and order processing.
- Experience in customer service operations, including handling inquiries and providing timely responses across multiple channels.
- Excellent understanding of logistics workflows
