They are committed to driving operational excellence and supporting partners through data-driven insights and comprehensive services.Our partner company is seeking an entry-level Operations Coordinator (International Programs) in Arlington, VA, to manage a portfolio of countries and coordinate international logistics and staffing with their global subcontractors, ensuring smooth operations for a U.S. government client.
Description
- Travel and Transportation: Overseeing ticketing, per diem, visa/passport services, and local transportation, including authorized car and driver services.
- Office and Residential Support: Arranging for office equipment, supplies, and furniture; also managing residential utilities.
- Staffing Support: Coordinating the recruitment, hiring, and management of local support staff (e.g., Project Assistants, Translators, IT Specialists) in foreign countries.
- Invoice Management: Coordinating all invoicing for your assigned portfolio and proactively troubleshooting any discrepancies.
- General Logistical Coordination: Managing a wide array of additional support, such as conference logistics and procurement of equipment.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring all coordinated activities align with established internal processes, procedures, and client requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and sustaining professional relationships with internal colleagues and international affiliates.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and adapt to frequently changing priorities in a dynamic international environment.
- Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively across teams with competing priorities. Desired Skills and Attributes
