Description

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes accurately and on time.
• Support group reporting and financial consolidation activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and independently investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Support intercompany accounting and group recharge processes.
• Assist with statutory and tax-related reporting activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with business and finance teams across multiple countries.
• Resolve complex accounting and reporting issues by applying accounting standards and internal policies.
• Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and control.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
• Act as a key point of contact within the team and provide backup support to the Team Leader when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Hungarian Accounting standards or practical experience in Hungarian accounting.
• Fluent English skills (minimum B2 level, both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a solid financial understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Assertive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Preferred Qualifications.
• Experience within a Shared Service Center (SSC) or Business Services environment.
• Exposure to group reporting, financial consolidation, or management reporting.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
• Participation in process improvement or transformation initiatives.
