Description
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes accurately and on time.
- Support group reporting and financial consolidation activities.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and independently investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Support intercompany accounting and group recharge processes.
- Assist with statutory and tax-related reporting activities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with business and finance teams across multiple countries.
- Resolve complex accounting and reporting issues by applying accounting standards and internal policies.
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and control.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
- Act as a key point of contact within the team and provide backup support to the Team Leader when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Hungarian Accounting standards or practical experience in Hungarian accounting.
- Fluent English skills (minimum B2 level, both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a solid financial understanding.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Assertive and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience within a Shared Service Center (SSC) or Business Services environment.
- Exposure to group reporting, financial consolidation, or management reporting.
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
- Participation in process improvement or transformation initiatives.
