Physical Security Analyst

• Administer and maintain the Genetec Security Center platform, including access control, video management, user administration and system configuration
• Perform routine maintenance activities, including server patching, operating system updates and platform health checks
• Plan, test and execute firmware upgrades for access control hardware and IP camera infrastructure with minimal disruption to business operations
• Coordinate and deliver Genetec platform upgrades, including testing, validation and rollback planning where required
• Develop and maintain clear operational documentation, including standard operating procedures, maintenance guides and recovery processes
• Continuously monitor system performance, proactively identifying and resolving hardware, software or connectivity issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access policies in line with security best practices and least-privilege principles
• Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to support integrations, server environments and network connectivity
• Provide support for security investigations by retrieving and exporting video footage and access control records when required
• Maintain accurate documentation covering system architecture, device inventories, maintenance history and change records
• Participate in change management activities to ensure maintenance and upgrade work is properly planned, communicated and documented
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support to internal users and site teams using the physical security platform
