We are looking for someone with strong automation skills and having prior experience with Observability tooling is a must.

Leírás

• Develop automation pipelines for observability self-services and internal configuration management activities
  
• Configure monitoring as code for monolithic, microservices, cloud services, and shared services at enterprise scale
  
• Work with both developers and operations teams to gather requirements and implement solutions in the respective tools
  
• Deploying & operating tools and configuration management via automation across different public & private cloud providers
  
• Manage Observability tools for SAP SuccessFactors fragmented across 30+ Datacenters
  
• Document and present methodologies to operations, engineering, and executive teams
  

Követelmények

• Automation with infrastructure-as-code and monitoring-as-code using tools including Terraform, Consul, and Vault, in enterprise Git environment
  
• Configuration management tools such Ansible
  
• Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and the deployment, management, and monitoring of containers in public cloud environments
  
• Understanding and ability to work in scripting languages: Bash, Shell, Python
  
• Experience building and modifying build and deploy pipelines with tools such as Jenkins
  
• Best practices for collaborative development though Git, Jira, and agile development
  
• Familiar with observability tools like Prometheus, Dynatrace, Zabbix, Splunk, ELK etc. (Good to have)
  
• Web/App Server (Nginx, Flask, Rails, Tomcat, etc.) build, deploy and troubleshoot (Good to have)
  
• Knowledge and experience working with one or more public cloud providers. Preferably Azure and/or GCP
  
• Strong troubleshooting experience specific to compute performance and optimization to help drive TCO targets
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a technical focus
  
• Services oriented mindset as our team supports many operations, engineering & product efforts
  
• Exposure to operational framework like ITIL/ITSM, Six Sigma
