About our partner
The EMEA Finance Project Leadership group runs a number of projects and initiatives in partnership with Finance and Risk teams. Both within the EMEA region and globally, these projects encompass both business-driven initiatives and major Finance- and Risk- driven programs, arising from a combination of factors including:
The rapidly changing business and regulatory environment in which the firm operates
The constant need to align processes, data and systems used for regulatory reporting, with established firm standards and policies, as well as to enhance efficiency and further strengthen the current control environment.
The GP&P Sr Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s).
Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate.
Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.

Tasks:
  • Lead the implementation of a complex multi-year project end to end with multiple systems and countries involved (most projects will be within the EMEA region but may also include components of a global program)
  • Innovate and initiate new projects within the Finance functional area that is supported
  • Contribute to the effort to deploy global process / system strategy within the region
  • Manage a large number of individuals from different areas who are working on the project, including Technology and the line areas (may involve management of a small team as direct a manager)
  • Coordinate work slate prioritization for the Finance large regional systems
  • Be considered a leader within Finance; will face off to regional Finance management, cluster / country senior Finance or O&T management, as well as to global functional leads
Requirements
  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the Banking industry
  • Experience in Projects roles (5+ years), either as a Program or Project Manager using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor and report on concurrent, multiple projects
  • PMP or other Project Management certification a plus
  • Knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment in the EU a plus
